Front Desk/ Office Manager
I am on the front line at our office. Whether answering your first call or greeting you when you enter our doors, I set out to make a good impression. I also make appointments, collect payments, and make financial arrangements with insurance companies. I love meeting and working with new patients, especially when I can help solve any of their financial problems. I love my husband, our four children, and 13 grandchildren. I am very proud of my two youngest sons for their service to our country in the US Navy.

I am a recent addition to our office, starting my internship here in November, 2011. I do routine dental work, keep the office sterile and clean, and help in any other way I can. I am in this field to make lives better one smile at a time, and I really enjoy teaching people about how to take great care of their teeth. I love all sporting activities and am interested in all forms of art. I also enjoy visiting art museums and art shows.

You will often see me working beside Dr. Vass with your procedures. I am an experienced assistant to endodontic, restorative, preventative, and prosthodontist treatments. I also take X-rays and impressions, do lab work, and work with various representatives who service the field of dentistry with new products and technologies. I am in an Air Force family. My only child is in her first year of college, and I am happiest when I can spend time with her.

After working in Mall Management and as the regional vice-president for Simon Property Group, in which I was responsible for 12 malls across three states, I took up the financial leg of our clinic. I take care of accounts payable, payroll, marketing, contracts, and ordering of supplies. It thrills me to be part of the process that brings new patients to our practice, and I love developing new advertising strategies. This practice is something truly special, and I’m not just speaking as the spouse of our doctor. I enjoy my time with him and with our children, grandchildren, and pets. Together, we teach the Young Marrieds Sunday School class. I am also the president of Women on Mission at First Baptist Church, a member of the service organization Zonta International and of the Chamber of Commerce, and a division manager of Jewels by Park Lane.
